Well then, haven't blogged in a while. There has been a lot going on, not all of it Disney related. Went to Greenville last weekend, we bought a house that I really love.
We're moving out of THIS house on I think the 18th of this month into an apartment until my brother gets out of school. I'm definitely ready to say goodbye to Wilmington. As much as I have grown to like the beach I feel like there are so many better things to come... which brings me to...
I got accepted to USC Upstate. Which is good. However, this puts a strain on Disney, which is bad.
My origional plan was to take online classes from UNCG while in WDW to maintain my insurance since my school doesn't offer credits. Now that I will be out of here for sure and won't have NC instate tuition anymore I'm not really sure what I'm doing. I've been debating whether it wouldn't just be better for me to wait and apply again for CP in the spring. That gives me time to settle down in my new school without having to postpone, allows me to get credit from that school (which I already checked about, and they will give me credit). So in all honesty I have no clue whats going on around me. This just seemed like an appropriate time to vent. I hope I can find a way to sort things out, I really want to go. And I don't want to have to let my roomies down, haha.

Long Duck Dong
I'm sitting here watching 16 Candles with my mom, and laughing. WHERE IS MY AUTOMOBILE?
Anyways, I'm going out of town to Greenville tomorrow. Not really any new Disney news, except that there are 159 days left and I'm supah pumped.
It's getting harder and harder to focus on school though because my mind always wants to think about Disney, blah. I guess that's all I really have to say for today. I hadn't updated in a few days, so yeah.

Something I realized.
I have a long way to go till Disney. This blog will probably have a lot of pointless things written in it, like me blabbering about how excited I am and yadda yadda. BUT there are a few related things:
-My dad came home from Greenville today and we talked about the program and he seems to think it's going to be cool, which makes me excited because I'm glad my family supports me. (Of course the fact that I can get them discounts to Disney doesn't hurt either)
-My future roomies and I are all getting along really well so far and I think we're going to have loads of fun.

Good News!
Today I finally accepted my role! I got my purple folder in the mail. I'm arriving August 9th, 2010 and departing January 7th, 2011. I already found some roooomies. They all seem really nice so I'm supper excited to meet them. I also added a mickeypath on the side of my blog for a countdown, if you want one you can go to http://www.mickeypath.com and hook yourself up!
So I decided to make a list about some things I'm most excited about while working in Disney, beyond meeting a ton of new people:
1. Little kids smiling faces- that may sound really corny, but I love kids. I've been around little kids my whole life, and there is nothing more fun than playing with them and making them happy, which is basically what Disney is about.
2. Pin trading- Pretty self explanitory, just another way to make people happy.
3. The fact that I get to be around guests all day- Granted, I'm going to run into the occasional Grumpy.. ALL PEOPLE HAVE TO EAT! So they're going to wind up coming to get food, which is where I will be.
I could go on for days really, but my grandparents are here and I'm going to wrap it up.
OH, if any of you have watched johnwdwcp's videos on youtube, he mentions to book Mousecatraz.. has anyone read it? Lemme know.

The best has yet to come!
SO!!!.. I'm officially accepting tomorrow. I tried to today, but after a bunch of calls to the WDWCP people and misc. junk, I decided it'd be best to just wait ONE more measley day and see if my purple folder comes tomorrow, since that'd be the official "one week since the email came" day. If it doesn't come, I'm going to go ahead and call them again then accept.
Basically you could say I'm excited all over again.
Everything is working out, so my last post about being nervous and what not is lame. Over. Done.
AND ON TOP OF THAT: I talked to someone in my english class today about Disney, and turns out they did the college program last year which I had NO idea of. It was cool because I had never met anyone in person who had done it before, he said I am going to love it. I figured as much. Lol.
So in all my excitement, I made a polyvore. Inspired by a necklace.

I'm feeling a little discouraged. And it sucks. Any day now I should be getting the purple folder in the mail. But, I talked to the career advisor at my school, the one who supposedly knows the most about Disney. I found out that my school won't give me credit, so my only option now is to do it through one of the Disney partnered schools. The only thing is the cost. UNCG is 1131.79 for in state 12 credits. BUTTTTTT if my family is moving how will I get in state? I don't know, everything is getting messed up and I'm getting upset because I thought this was going so well, I hope my Dad can help me and sort it out because I want this really bad.
But as of right now I'm watching the Bachelor girls tell all thing and writing a paper. My mind is so preoccupied with everything else that my school stuff is just not first prioriety now and that's definitely not a good thing, ugh, I need a good nights sleep.

OMG
I'm in! Holy crap! I got the email today around 2:30 and it was totally unexpected. I hadn't even gotten a thank you email, so I thought I had a long way to go. I got quick service food and beverage, which wasn't one of my first choices but I'll take what I can get. I'm really happy.
The only issue I'm facing now is with my school. My advisor doesn't seem to know anything about the college program, so I'm going to have to find someone who does. I might have to get credits from one of the schools parterned with Disney so I can keep my health insurance. IDK I'm just on cloud nine for today, I'll worry about the details tomorrow, haha.
